Ferrari 812 Superfast: A High-Performance Sports Car with Striking Design and Advanced Features.

 


The Ferrari 812 Superfast is a high-performance sports car with a 6.5-liter F140 GA V12 engine that produces 800 horsepower and 718 Nm of torque. It has a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and 20-inch Pirelli P Zero tires with carbon-ceramic Brembo Extreme Design brakes. The car's aerodynamics are a mix of active and passive features to improve drag coefficient values over its predecessor, the F12berlinetta. The 812 Superfast has a top speed of 340 km/h (211 mph) and can accelerate from 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in 2.9 seconds. It also features Electronic Power Steering (EPS) and a Virtual Short Wheelbase 2.0 rear-wheel steering system borrowed from the limited edition F12 TDF. The car has a weight distribution of 47% front, 53% rear and has recorded a lap time of 1:21.50 around the Fiorano racetrack.

The design of the Ferrari 812 Superfast is based on the F12berlinetta, but with several new styling elements such as full LED headlights, air vents on the hood, quad circular tail lights, and a body-colored rear diffuser. The car's high-tail, two-box design is meant to resemble the Pininfarina-designed 365 GTB/4 Daytona, although the 812 Superfast was designed at the Ferrari Styling Center.

The interior of the car takes inspiration from both the F12berlinetta and the LaFerrari, featuring similar air vents and dashboard contours.

As the flagship model of Ferrari, the 812 Superfast's center control stack does not include a central infotainment display like the GTC4Lusso and Portofino models. Instead, vehicular status information is displayed on the driver's multifunction instrument cluster and the passenger-side touchscreen stack display above the glove compartment area. 

Like some previous Ferrari models, the 812 Superfast can be ordered with a specially designed, model name-tagged, multi-piece luggage set that fits into the car's rear trunk.
